
Amanda Louise Holden, born on the 16th of February, 1971, is an English actor and media persona. She has been the judge for Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent competition since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on every weekday morning. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her early years in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared in TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also a participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she appeared alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Along with Alesha Dixon David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent from 2006 to the year 2006.
