Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actress and singer. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) - and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American actress and singer. She was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with an Polish mother and a father who was German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment as a young stage of her life. In 1992, she went to her very first audition. She was given a part on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mom signed to become an agent was also auditioned for TV and newspaper advertisements. In the same year Bell also started training in private acting. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and the drama club. She was the star as Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre after the completion of her studies. Bell, who graduated in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year, she made her first credited debut with Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
