Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American performer, actress, and former model. Most famously, she is known for her performance in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as being the lead vocalist of Apollonia 6, a girl group. The group was just one of the female artists that benefited from Prince's collaboration in the 1980s. Patricia Kotero is a Californian actress born in Santa Monica in 1959. Her early career included acting as a model for television. Kotero was the female lead in Prince's Purple Rain in 1984 (at which point he had changed the name of her).
