Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress who is best well-known for her films as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in film, theater, as well as television. She began her career as an actress in theatre but then proceeded to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's massive show The Book of Negroes she appeared.
