Mitchell stars in Eric Kripke television series Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather. Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) is her mother. They is a lawyer from Dallas. Mitchell along with her mother and two children relocated from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in the year 1975. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, TX. It is a public Magnet school. She is the oldest of her three sisters; the other two being Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the the tiniest) Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell trained in acting at British American Drama Academy and was a graduate of Stephens College, graduating in 1991. Mitchell has worked in Dallas Theater Center six years.
